Lunar New Year Gala

Welcome the Year of the Snake with the NY Phil in a program featuring Bizet’s Carmen Suite No. 1, Li Huanzhi’s Spring Festival Overture, and more. Conductor Tianyi Lu — known for her “exquisite calligraphic musical pictorialism” (Los Angeles Times) — leads the program and is joined by violinist Inmo Yang as soloist in Chen Yi’s Chinese Folk Dance Suite.
