Remember our World Series bet with the Kansas City Symphony?

Well, after the New York Mets went about as fer as they could go (#crying), we made good on the first half of our bet: we delivered NYC’s finest bagels and lox to our friends at the Kansas City  Symphony.

Last night we honored the second stipulation: we performed "Everything’s Up to Date in Kansas City" from Oklahoma! It stung a little less to have Kansas City girl Joyce DiDonato sing with us onstage. She even spiced it up with her own World Series lyrics. And as Music Director Alan Gilbert said: “We’re giving the best rendition this piece has ever had!”
