Ensure access to the arts for people from every walk of life

The New York Philharmonic receives funding from city, state, and national government to support its music and education programs. Currently, government grants support our annual free concerts, which give everyone from all five boroughs access to our live performances. Public funds also provide essential support for our nationally recognized School Partnership Program, which will serve nearly 3,000 students and 139 teachers in 14 New York City schools during the 2011-12 school year.
