Your Gift to the New York Philharmonic's Education Fund Has the Power to Open the Hearts of Thousands of Children to a Lifelong Love of Music!

Now in their 87th consecutive year, the New York Philharmonic Young People's Concerts is the longest running series of children's concerts in the world.

Made famous by Leonard Bernstein through his memorable television broadcasts in the 1950s and 1960s, these multiple award-winning programs changed the lives of an entire generation of children.

Now, with 21st century technology, these multimedia Young People's Concerts are more engaging than ever ... and Kidzone Live!, an interactive music fair that precedes each concert, provides a thrilling opportunity for children to take a turn at trying instruments under the guidance of Philharmonic musicians.

Like all concerts, costs for Young People's Concerts are not fully covered by ticket sales alone, even when they are 100% sold-out. This year we are facing a deficit of over $100,000 per concert ... $445,000 for the season's entire series.

In order to ensure that we can keep ticket prices low enough to allow access to children from all economic brackets, your support is absolutely critical.

In appreciation of your gift of $250 or more, we'll send you an exclusive CD containing major works featured in the four Young People's Concerts this season – for your own enjoyment or to share with a special child in your life!

Your contribution to the Philharmonic's Education Fund is surely a gift that will touch young lives, opening children's hearts to a lifelong love of music. Won't you please make a gift today, and be as generous as you can?
